Special guest, Dr. Veronda Rooks-Price joined the show from West Africa. The Virginia native shared a healthy portion of her unique story with us. From her mother's mental health struggles, to her own mental abuse, molestation, rape, and trauma, to her loving dad's, the overwhelming support she eventually received, learning how to manage being an aggressive black woman and much more. She's written several books, has multiple degrees, teaches children around the globe, mentors many, founded Pretty Girlz Inc., feeds orphans, sponsors students, and that's just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the good doctor.
