2 Timothy 1:7

For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

In 2020-2021, I saw multiple groups affected by fear. There was a lot that we didn't know so caution was warranted but fear for a lot of people became a constant state of mind. It wasn't good then and it isn't good now. As Christians, the Bible continually reminds us to have faith and not fear but instead be strong and courageous. It is not easy and often requires action on our part but living in fear is really not living at all. Now there are groups in 2023 that want to encourage that fear again and I ask that you instead pursue love and a sound mind so that you can be strong and courageous this time around.
