I have to admit that parts of today's message are part of a sermon that I gave about 9 years ago in a small inner-city, high-needs church. Some parts of this sermon just seemed to stick with me, and I felt the Lord prompting me to tell this story again.
So I wonder. Have you ever had a spoon and a ladle in your hands at the same time? Have you noticed how you use the spoon to feed yourself and how you use the ladle to serve? Well, that's what today's message is about. Serving ourselves versus serving others. How do you feel God wants us to act?
