Today, we get to meet Teal Harbin! The CEO and Founder of Base Medical. In her words, Base Medical is, "an outdoor education company that offers courses in wilderness medicine and search and rescue. And so our motive is to eliminate the barriers that currently exist in accessing this type of education."

Teal and I discuss tons of topics - ranging from our experiences as wilderness medicine practitioners to taking the leap and starting our own businesses. Teal shares valuable insights from launching a technology that disrupted an established industry. She is in the business of making people safe - and her company serves as an inspiration for what a determined founder can accomplish when they see an opportunity.
