Here is a topic we don’t talk about often: human trafficking.

Sure it’s been in the news lately, but I don’t think as a society that we really realize just how common this horror is.

I don’t pretend to know how to fix it. Children and women tend to be quite vulnerable to this dark part of our society. 

As I read, I learn this crime happens in every corner of our world, to the tune of 2000 children per day in America. 

I thought on July 30, I’d release a new podcast episode where I speak with Keyonna Monroe, CEO of Pretty to Me Foundation, and an adult survivor of child sex trafficking. Today is United Nations World Day against Trafficking in Persons, established to raise awareness of the plight of human trafficking victims, and promote and protect their rights.

This podcast episode focuses on the after effects of what life is after trafficking and how one woman is changing her own world and impacting the lives of others.
