This is a Spotlight on the Scriptures. Psalms 2: 10-12 Now therefore, O kings, be wise; be warned, O rulers of the earth. Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling. Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and you perish in the way, for his wrath is quickly kindled. Blessed are all who take refuge in him.

One of the most amazing things you will come across when you are studying the Bible is this:  God, in the history of this world, has always gotten a message to the rulers of this world. Always.  There are No exceptions. Down in the land of ancient Egypt,  Pharaoh was on the throne, and there was a boy name Joseph in prison. God kept him in prison so that at the right moment He could bring him out to make him the prime minister of Pharaoh at one of the most crucial periods in the history of the world. That is the way God does it.  When the first great world power, called Babylon, came into existence, God put the man Daniel at the side of Nebuchadnezzar. He not only became his prime minister, but also he brought him to a saving knowledge of the living God.” Point if the rulers of the earth will humble themselves in submission, they will prosper. To all the people of the earth, kiss the Son, that is submit to his authority and rule. King Jesus is not only to be obeyed but He is also to be worshiped. “ Every knee will bow, and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father (Phil 2:10-11) So why should the nation (people ) perish in their rebellion? The generation can escape the wrath to come, they can escape the Son’s anger against sin by taking refuge in him. If you kiss the Son, you will find yourself happy and blessed. Beloved the church is to show this fulfillment.   Robert Hawker said “ O Lord, avert from me the wrath of the Lamb; for if He, who is the only mediator, be angry, while God my Father is justly angry for my sins, who shall be my intercessor? Witness for me ye angels of light, that my whole trust is in Jesus, the rock of my salvation”. Psa_95:1.

My friend, the Spirit of God today is in the world saying to mankind, “Kiss the Son before it is too late. Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ before it is too late.” He is coming someday, and He is going to establish His kingdom here on this earth. He is going to rule, and He is going to put down all rebellion. He will bring peace and harmony to this little earth.
