Through her journey, Yvonne navigates many challenges growing up without a mother and father, living with relatives, and at one point living in a facility that she later returns to serve as a Superintendent. 

Yvonne recognizes that her journey was not alone and learned very early that a life grounded God, His purpose, and faith is the code to not only surviving but living abundantly.
