This is honestly an impromptu thing inspired by my constant running into that cliche writing advice, “show, don’t tell”. One of them was a feedback to my story. Now I must stress that this isn’t meant to be an attack on him or a defensive reaction. In fact, I welcome feedback because I do want to get better. But this is just something I wanted to bring up as a counterpoint since I find myself coming back to this article from time to time.
