There has been a change of status, as it were; God's justice satisfied by Yeshua's death. By faith, we have gone from condemned to free -- free to live a life of holiness. Like the woman freed from covenantal bonds of deceased husband, through our death in Messiah, we are freed from the condemnation we lived under previously. What is our initial reaction when someone says, “Don't do that!” “Don't go there!”? When we receive instruction, correction, carnal reaction is to resist.
