Stylist, salon owner, and educator Yara de la Torre shares her story of coming back from an accident that left her paralyzed from the waist down.

She fought her way back, finding many adaptations, and returned to her Salon and her passion—doing hair—when less than a year later, she had to stop working, again, because of the shutdowns in response to the COVID-19 crisis. Her story of overcoming adversity inspires us to follow her example of positive thinking and taking action.
