From the Father’s viewpoint, the cross is not just a redemptive act in time—it is an eternal principle of divine life. Long before Calvary, the cross existed in the heart of God as the rule by which the Father, Son, and Spirit live in complete, self-giving fellowship. This same cross is what He desires to inwork into a vast family of sons.

We reflect on Adam’s invitation to embrace this way of life and how his choice shaped humanity’s course. Jesus, the last Adam, fully embodied the divine way—doing nothing for, of, or with Himself apart from the Father. His life revealed the eternal cross principle: living to give, serve, and share.

Will we only accept the cross for our benefit, or will we embrace the inwrought cross as our way of life? The Father still seeks sons who live by the same eternal rule revealed in Christ. Here we go!
