Listen to the encouraging words of the apostle Paul in Acts 27 verses 23-25, “For there stood by me this night an angel of the God to whom I belong and whom I serve, saying, ‘Do not be afraid, Paul; you must be brought before Caesar; and indeed God has granted you all those who sail with you. Therefore take heart, men, for I believe God that it will be just as it has been told me.’”

Yes, Paul himself was in the same storm that others were in, but he was a man of prayer. He believed the words of the Lord Jesus: if anyone seeks to save his life he will lose it. And he gave himself to glorify God and to seek the betterment of others. Because of this, he was given a sure Word from God for the lost and fearful who were in crisis all around him.

You and I can make a difference in the days ahead, if we chose to make the right choices.
