The Toronto Blue Jays started off the second half of the season with a bang by sweeping the Arizona Diamondbacks.

We talked about the strong pitching and clutch hitting that the Blue Jays received during the series plus how Daulton Varsho, Lourdes Gurriel, and Gabriel Moreno performed against their former teams.

After that, we took a look at how Hyun Jin Ryu has been doing on his rehab assignment and how he'll fit on the roster when he's ready to return. We also explored the rumour that the Blue Jays are interested in a reunion with Marcus Stroman.

Finally, we took a look around the American League East and ahead to this week's series with the San Diego Padres.
