In conversation with 3 boys placed in 3 different continents - it was a complete pleasure to talk to these young individuals who are ready to embark on a new academic chapter in their life.
My name is Emaad Saad. I was born in New Jersey, and spent ten years in Canada, after which I moved to Karachi where I'm now in A-levels at KGS as a pre med student. I believe in education and have an immense respect for educators, prompting my decision to co-found Nativlearning, an online educational course creator in native languages. I'm also an avid reader, chess player, and basketball player. My name is Ismail Irfanullah. I was born in Minneapolis and remained there until the age of 11. I then moved to Karachi, Pakistan, and attended The Karachi Grammar School. After completing middle school, I returned to Minneapolis where I am currently a student at Eagan High School. My hobbies include squash, tennis, mountain biking, and learning Arabic. Through my limited experience, mostly shaped from having lived on both sides of the world, I have developed a sense of gratitude for things most take for granted and learned to love, and try to understand, all people.
My name is Omar Tariq. I was born in London in 2002 and since then I have lived in Pakistan, Singapore and the UK. I am currently studying the advanced placement at an american school in England and plan to pursue economics, finance, or social sciences in university starting from 2021. During my free time, I really like to play golf, go for jogs, and cycle. This is pretty much how I spent most of my lockdown too. I strongly believe that perseverence and motivation makes us better people because it gives us the opportunity to learn from our mistakes and always have a positive mindset towards what we are trying to achieve in life
