Thanksgiving is that unique American Holiday Tradition that began with the end of the Harvest. It was a time when the Early American Colonists would prepare a sumptuous feast, and an opportunity for those hardworking farmers, trappers and hunters to enjoy the fruits of their labor.

But most of all it was a time for reflection, a chance to review the productive months just past, and to begin planning for the new year which will begin in another month.
