Escape Room designer Nick Moran creator of the celebrated Time Run, chats to Mink about his favourite Escape Rooms in the UK, gets geeky about clue systems before telling his remarkable account of the time he visited North Korea as a tourist and nearly didn’t return. Nick went on holiday, not once, but twice to North Korea and saw firsthand the surreal reality that the DPRK wants to present itself as to the few foreigners they permit across their borders. He tours the grand museums to American lies, vast ghost-town hotels and the facade factories, all the while desperately trying to hide that he doesn’t have the paperwork needed to be allowed to leave.
