I can't just walk away and look in my rearview mirror and see what I see, see the people behind me, see the workplace behind me, see the fires behind me, and just walk away knowing that that's a bad situation and I'm going to leave it knowing what I know. I can't sleep at night if I do that.
It's like walking away from someone beating a child and as long as you can't see it, then it's fine, it's not happening. And if your mind works that way, then something's wrong.
