A tree is only as healthy as its weakest branch. Holding on to the hope that a dead branch will be fruitful is setting yourself up for disappointment. It’s time to create space for new things to grow. Meaning, we have to prune. We must be vigilant and responsible for the growth in our lives. Beautiful things cannot bloom if we do not make room for them. Isaiah 43 says to leave the old stuff behind and look up at the new, because it is coming your way!
