After Yvonne finds out the true cost of Gary’s wartime hobby, Yvonne warns Gary it’s time for him to stop with his obsession. As Gary clears away his memorabilia, he comes across a video tape that could help him back in 1940, as he knows the exact time and place that he can take his wartime gang to meet the King. all goes to plan and there are celebrations between Gary and Phoebe. However the celebration is cut short when Phoebe gets some worrying news, leaving Gary questioning whether it is time to leave the past in the past for good.

After things had been left in a bad way with Phoebe in the last episode, Gary contemplates leaving the 1940s behind for good. Something that benefits his marriage with Yvonne as they are both buzzing and loving every second with each other. However, a news report in 1993, claims that an 80 year old Phoebe Sparrow has been attacked, leaving Gary questioning if he has to return to the 1940s to eventually marry Phoebe, so that it doesn’t mess with the course of history.
