Many of us grew up being told to turn the other cheek, do not rub anyone the wrong way, just bite your tongue, and do not make waves.

I don’t think that any of us are trying to be difficult, but are exhibiting our confidence, are challenging the status quo, and are standing up for what we believe. Even if it means we are not getting the popular vote. We are leading!
