What I'm learning about prophecy is that God's purpose for releasing it is to govern our actions towards it's fulfilment.

I believe He is more interested in who we become at the time of its fulfilment than the fulfilment of the prophecy itself.

Another thing I have learned about God's prophecy is that, the more people (or the devil) try to control it's outcome, the more they play into it. It's a 'Sheep' vs 'Sheep-Dog' scenario crafted by the most intelligent Shepherd of all-"The Good Shepherd"- Jesus Christ.

God's prophecy is never fulfilled in the way or at the time we expect it to be. We must press into Him so that we don't take what He means to be literal and apply it figuratively or vice versa.

All of scripture (God's word) is prophecy which will be fulfilled no matter what!

So, as God's children we best start getting better acquainted with His word written in scripture. Holy Spirit is ever so glad to help. Ask Him!
