Paulo and I were traveling through Oregon and reached out to connect with my old friend Julian Smith AKA The Quad Guy (@smith.julian). Julian has over 1.1 million followers on Instagram but is one of the most humble, down to earth, real, and chill dudes I've ever met. Alongside his wife Casey, they have built many successful businesses for training, apparel, weight lifting accessories, and supplements. He is a respected peer amongst the fitness influencer industry and an inspiration to me. Julian and I have known each other through the industry for a few years. We have traveled to Birmingham, England together to represent BodyBuilding.com but we have never had a real opportunity to sit down to get to know each other. We stopped by Arm's Race Gym for a cool conversation. Needless to say we had a valuable, informative, and meaningful conversation.
