This week we're talking about the newest novel from Tahereh Mafi, A Very Large Expanse of Sea. We were both completely blown away by the richness of Shirin's story and the unique setting of the novel. At its surface, it may seem like a simple first love story, but it's so, so much more than that and neither one of us have been able to stop thinking about it.
