An exclusive investigation by Global News has found a VIP gambler with links to Chinese government officials gambled almost half a million dollars in cash received in a suspicious transaction which took place in a River Rock hotel room. The BC Lottery Corp chose to make the VIP verify his source of funds for future transactions, rather than cancel his account.
