In today's episode, we’re taking you back to 2005, to one of the most stunning islands in the world—Santorini, Greece. We flew out from Bristol, UK, and landed on this picturesque island, which is everything you imagine when you think of Greece.
One of the highlights for me was exploring the cobbled streets of Fira, the island’s capital. You’ve got little shops selling everything from handmade jewelry to ceramics, and of course, we couldn’t resist sampling the local cuisine. Fresh seafood, grilled to perfection, and a glass of Santorini’s famous Assyrtiko wine—absolutely divine
And we couldn’t leave Santorini without a trip to the black sand beaches of Kamari and Perissa. The volcanic sand makes the beaches unique—though, I have to say, walking barefoot on the hot black sand was quite the experience! Make sure you have sandals with you.
