Daniel Santangeli is an incredible leader in the artistic space, working with diverse communities to ensure that art and theatre is truly accessible to everyone.

As Artistic Director and Co-CEO of Footscray Community Arts Centre (FCAC), Daniel is at the forefront of important conversations and big projects happening in the vibrant west of the city. With a focus on inclusivity and social justice, his role encompasses performance, exhibitions, workshops and community events.

Daniel has always been interested in leadership, but it wasn’t until he began his current role that he appreciated the challenges and opportunities associated with executive leadership positions. He discusses the ways in which he is working to break down structural barriers and create space for new voices, and his methods for coping with the stresses of management.
