A Voice For Antarctica With Roberta Bosu

Listen Later

What if the most important place on Earth had no one to speak for it?

Antarctica covers 10% of our planet's surface. It holds 60% of the world's fresh water. It regulates our oceans, our rainfall, our climate and the fate of every coastal city on Earth. And yet it has no government, no legal rights, and no voice in the decisions that are destroying it.

In this very special episode of Self Talk Show, I sit down with Roberta Bosu β€” innovator, advocate, European Climate Pact Ambassador, and working group member of Antarctic Rights β€” the global NGO on a mission to give Antarctica legal personhood for the very first time in history.

We talk about what Antarctica actually is and why losing it means losing everything. We talk about the Rights of Nature movement that is already reshaping law in 40 countries. We talk about the Antarctica Declaration, the most ambitious environmental document of our time. And we talk about what you can do, right now, to be part of this.

This episode is produced in collaboration with Podcasthon 2026 β€” a global movement where podcasters dedicate one episode to an NGO changing the world. I chose Antarctic Rights. And by the end of this conversation, you'll understand exactly why.
