Be warned this episode is a bit longer than usual and it’s a good one! We start off with a classic horror story from F. Marion Crawford called “The Upper Berth” in which a sea voyage turns into an exercise in terror! Then it’s a very English ghost tale called “Dead and the Countess” in which the restless spirits of those gone before make their demands! Turn the lights down, get cozy, and let the shadows over take you!

We feature three tales of terror tonight that will definitely stay with you when the lights go out! “The Thing at the Foot of the Bed” teaches you it is a bad idea to spend the night in an abandoned house! “Bindings Deluxe” is a macabre tale of an ill-fated gentleman’s club. And “Frankenstein’s Monster Speaks” let’s have a fear inducing look inside the mind of the creature! Enjoy!

It’s a creepy collision of horror with the Monkey’s Paw by w.w.Jacobs, followed by the terror of “The Ghost Ship”…be careful where you sail! Then we get to hear a classic from Rosemary Clooney in 1950 called “The Wobblin Goblin”. And Jeremy Nagle graces us with Strange but true facts. And finally, you won’t believe what happens when you “Wait Till Martin Comes”!

This episode is a little different in that the stories are more weird than horrific. Some of the best writers of strange fiction are collected here in these tales of the odd. Included here we have “Open Season on the Bottoms” in which a certain type of person is vanishing from the earth. Then it’s “Tiger Superstition” in which we learn of the strange beliefs about the beast. In “After an Air Raid” we meet a couple during WWII who decide not to worry. Next is “Escape” in which a person who seems completely insane may have more going on than we know. And finally “Dracula’s Return” blends the classic tale with a modern update that ends well for no one!

The latest and greatest episode of “A Walk in Shadow” is up tonight! It features some great freaky stuff such as “The Hanging Stranger” by Phillip K. Dick (read by S. E. McCAslin) in which a ghastly alien invasion turns deadly, “Balu” by Stepehn Grenden in which an old black cat is not what it seems, “Ships” & “Musings” by Robert E. Howard – poetry centered on ancient dark times, “The Messenger” by H. P. Lovecraft – a poem of dark terror, and “The Great Pyramid of Giza” by L. Sprague De Camp in which a pharaoh reveals his deepest fear. Check it all out

Tonight we have six creepy offerings sure to excite! 1. “Sneak Peak” is the story of a man who keeps noticing strange things out of the corner of his eye. 2. “The Tell Tale Heart” is a classic from Edgar Allen Poe and read by Shirlee McKay in which a murderer finds the crime is too much to bear…the hard way. 3. “Ghosts from Outer Space” is an oldie but a goody that you might remember from you childhood, in which ghosts from other planets invade our Earth! 4. “Not all Devils Have Horns” is written and read by Jeff Stewart (star of Finding Bigfoot, and many other paranormal TV shows) in which a kind old man is not what he seems. 5. “Creation” is a nifty little ditty in which an author literally brings something to life through his writing. This episode features a classic story of an unusual encounter with a demon by E. Everett Evans, a short account of what it is like to be completely forgotten (read by Nerd’s Eye View host Eric Nivens), a moment of sheer terror, and a slithering thing found in the dark! I’ve got goosebumps already!

This episode features four tales that will shiver your timbers! First up is “Patterns” in which we see there are some circles of life that need to be broken! Second is “The Scarlet Lover” in which a sinister plan goes awry because of the love of death. Then there is “The Slenderman Incident” in which we hear a first hand report of an encounter this enigmatic creature who is a stealer of children. And finally we take a trip to a remote house on Halloween night in “The Halloween Terror”! Enjoy the frights!

This episode features a terrific story from the author of “Psycho”, (Robert Bloch) called “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice” in which a slow learner decides magic is the key to his lady friend’s heart. Also we have “Dreams of Flight”…a Civil War ghost story in a different vein. And then there is “The Story of Bloody Mary” which will make your skin crawl! And we round it out with a classic from a 1973 scary record album called “The Dare”!

This episode features three gruesome tales titled: “A Warning” about a man who dabbles in the black arts to ill effect, “A Lonely Little Boy” performed by Lee Shults about a little guy who gets very excited when new tenants move in his building, and “Shades” where we learn to always keep our eyes on the shadows! All three stories are original works written by George Jones (boy this guy never knows when to quit!) and will certainly make the hairs stand up on your neck!
