A strained relationship with a teenager in your family can bring a lot of stress to the home.  Not only are interactions with a son or daughter full of tension… the strain can reach right into a relationship between husband and wife!

I hear the story all too often.  An out- of- control teen can cause trouble at home in such drastic ways that a wedge is driven between the marriage of mom and dad.  Maybe that’s what’s happening in your home right now.

If so, take some time to identify how your teen’s behavior is threatening your marriage.  Openly express your feelings with your spouse.

Don’t expect your spouse to be the only one to change!  Instead, focus on how you can pour into the marriage… and work together as a team.
