When a couple is getting married the man typically thinks he is adding an addition to his house (i.e. his life). But the woman thinks, “We are going to have a whole house renovation for our new lives together.” When it comes to our walk with Jesus, we tend to think the same way as the man. But Jesus wants to renovate our whole lives, not just be added on as an addition.
