In a future that could be closer than either you or I can imagine, a weary Crew preps for the long night ahead of them, the fierce Martian wind battering against the sides of their once sleek and pristine Starship a tell tall sign of the possible dangers to arise this evening. The familiar hum of the life support systems all doing their jobs alongside the Crew is a comfort that drowns out the outside noise. Though, every now and then, a few loose rocks and Martian soil ricochets off of the windows - a sound that once made the humans wince in fear, but now, it is simply another fact of life. For a moment, the few Crewmates that are around pause their busy work schedules and take a moment to relax, the sound of coffee being made, someone turning through a book absentmindedly... Or was that the latest mission report from NASA that nobody had bothered to fully read yet? Pen scribbling against paper, the tapping of keys, the beeps and whirrs of the computers... These sounds are the definition of comfortable in an uncomfortable environment, one of which soon may be home to even more humans. All with one goal in mind: to successfully make life Multiplanetary. But for now, it's just this Crew and their vessel for yet another windy evening on planet Mars.
