The Usual Formula...

I may just have read this too soon after my last Isla Dewar read, but I kept thinking "I feel like I've read this before" (I hadn't). The lead character was the same as all her other lead characters - a bit of a flake to start with, less than ideal relationship with her mother, making the best of things on her own and eventually getting into her groove and sorting her life out. A pleasant enough read, but just a bit 'samey'. Like I said, possibly just too soon after my previous Isla Dewar read. I'm usually a big fan.
