Coming to the third and final chapter of this great book, Nahum, speaking for almighty God, pronounces a woe on Nineveh. This formal woe is like a charging document against the city, noting its violence, lies, and harlotry. For these crimes, judgment is coming to the city. Yet this woe is also a reminder of a greater judgment God will bring against all sin.
