Happy New Year! Each year, about now, in between all the end of year / start of year hoopla, I start to think about a word that will guide me through the next year.

Focusing on a word can help discover what excites you, explore what challenges you and provide room for making peace and growth. In 2016 my word for the year was JOY. It changed my life and I kept it for four years as it served me so well. Joy is now simply part of everyday practice for me. This year (and the one before) was my word was EASE, and despite the obvious challenges, I did honour it 90% of the time. My catch phrase became “what would this look like if it was easy” I asked members of my Facebook Group ‘The Collective’ about their intention word, and share some of their answers (so if you need to steal some ideas, you’re in the right place) What might your word for 2022 be?
