We are all poor. We mistakenly think that money is power and that financial power cures all, but it does nothing for our the well-being of our spirit. The power that has been attributed to money has now placed money higher than God in the world and for many, money is what they worship.

Jesus said, "Blessed are the poor in spirit for theirs is the kingdom of heaven."

So given that we are all 'poor in spirit' we can know heaven to the extent that we embrace our spirit nature and know that our true power in inherent in our spiritual nature.
