Children: obey your parents not of moral or societal obligation but because you are compelled to in the Lord. Your obedience to your parents is seen as obedience unto the Lord.

Parents: Provide, protect, love, teach, and discipline your children in a way that doesn't stir up resentment in them but draws them near to God
