In episode 69 of "The Reel-ists Podcast", Oscar and Donnie discuss the new adventure flick "A-X-L." Both appreciated the film for its science fiction elements, and noted that the actors did well with their performances as well. Unfortunately, those were about the only positive things in the film. Oscar felt that the plot had many holes in it. Donnie feels the film comes across like a first draft of what this movie could have been.
