2021 certainly packed a punch in terms of employment legislation.  The evolution of flexible and blended working continued to gain further momentum this year with the introduction of the WRC Code of Practice on the Right to Disconnect and Government’s promise to legislate on a right to request remote working. Other notable developments include the Tanaiste’s convening of the LEEF high level group review group to examine collective bargaining and the milestone report of the pensions commission on retirement ages to name but a few.
