SCENE 2012 (Sydney Congress Embracing the New Evangelisation) has officially kicked off at St Mary’s Cathedral. Sydney’s Bishop Julian Porteous opened the Congress, themed “In Him”, with a talk on the Year of Grace.

In this talk Bishop Porteous reflects on how essential it is to remain in Christ in all our efforts, not attempting to progress by our own might but relying on the grace of God.

SCENE continues from Wednesday 11 – Sunday 15 July. The congress also features a free vocations expo from 11am-4pm Wednesday – Friday in Martin Place.
