2020 has been a year of so many tragedies but the death of George Floyd did something to me. Watching this man cry for his mother, cry to live, and to watch him take his last breath through social media crushed me to my core. We are tired that this country doesn't value our Black Lives and it's up to us to demand the change and strategize on what's the best way to get this done because our young children are losing hope. Our ancestors left us the blueprint on how they got us to this point. What will we do to take our next generation to a higher place where they will not have stories like George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, and Ahmaud Arbery and the list go one; because many more Black Lives were taken so viciously without anyone to pay for their murders.
