It was good. I loved Geno

Ummmmmm. I left this with no rating (on goodreads) because I'm not sure what to rate it. But I've forced to give a star rating on Amazon... So I came up with 3 Stars because it was said to be "It's Okay".

It was good.

I loved Geno.

I love single parent books.

The thing is... There wasn't really a lot of romance. (In my opinion. I just didn't feel it.)

There was so much going on in there their lives that it took over the story and didn't focus on their budding relationship.

A Year with Geno

Carolyn Taylor first finds a best friend in Air Force sergeant Geno DâAntoni and then spends A Year with Geno and his two sons learning to trust, finding support and falling in love with Geno. It is heartfelt romance where two single parents learn to support and help each other raise their sons. You have to love a Basset Hound named Bear that live in Alaska and inserts himself into every part of the family's lives.

Alaska.. What an amazing year for Caroline & Geno

Enjoyed the book, characters, plot. Felt the on-line dating part was all negative, but I have no personal experience to contradict the story. Loved Geno and his relationship with his sons and Caroline's sons. Being a retired nurse, would have enjoyed that area delved into more. Over-all, most enjoyable book.

A sweet romance about a single mom . . . two kids . . . and a dog named Bear

Not quite

This book had so much potential, but it didn't quite meet the mark for me. The last quarter of the book was rushed and parts of the story appeared to be left out. Shame, as upon that I was enjoying it
