Hello hello, happy to have you back for episode two of Live With Mads! Today, I am chatting with the amazing Aleah Mohamed. I virtually “met” Aleah through Instagram when I discovered her “No New Project”. During 2020, she is not buying anything new. She either has to find things used, borrow them, or rent them.

In this episode we discuss her project where she challenged herself to not buy anything new for a year. We also talk about:

  • navigating sustainability in the world of dating or in a relationship/marriage
  • challenges that arise when when buying secondhand
  • how it is a privilege to be able to worry about the environment and eco-issues
  • what her plans are for after she completes the project
