Today is the first day of a new course. I have 10 students in my class. They are from different countries: China, Brazil, France, India and Turkey. They all want to improve their English skills.

I introduce myself to the class and write my name on the board. Then I ask each student to say their name and where they are from. They take turns to speak. I listen carefully and repeat their names.
