I went down a bit of a rabbit hole with the etymology for the word "allergy". It comes from the two Greek word "allos" and "ergon" but I found 4 or 5 sources (including this dictionary) that disagree with how to translate "ergon". It's so interesting! I still don't know which was is the most accurate but that's ok. (I think this is the most links I've ever given you for one word)
