KCBS Radio afternoon anchor and A2A founder Jeff Bell shares the story of Barbara Strong, the founder of the Allyson Whitney Foundation. Barbara’s 24-year-old daughter Allyson Whitney Strong passed away after a hard-fought battle with small cell cervical cancer. After her cancer diagnosis Ally made it her mission to help others battling rare cancers financially, physically and emotionally. Barbara and the Foundation continue to serve young people with rare cancers in Ally’s honor.
