The Indian Medical Association (IMA) has written to Union Home Minister Amit Shah requesting him to approve an effective and stringent action against violence on health workers. A group of people attacked the doctor after a corona patient died on Monday in Hojai district of Assam. The IMA says that there has been an increase in health-related violence in the last few years.
