One day, Maloo had to get some potatoes from his grandmother's kitchen garden, but he couldn’t find any. Then, Kaloo helps him uncover the hidden potatoes.

Here are some ways to engage students using this story:  
1.Encourage  students to make a chart of vegetables and fruits and group them as trees, shrubs, herbs, climbers, or creepers.   
2.Ask students if they have ever visited a garden and brought vegetables, fruits, or flowers.  
3.Invite  students to share their favourite vegetable, fruit, or flower and talk about it with the class.
