The Final Episode with Leisa Peterson
This is the final episode of The Art of Abundance podcast but it’s not an ending. It’s a new beginning! I’m starting a new podcast The Mindful Millionaire to complement the release of my book later this year.
So today I’m reviewing what I have learned over the years of hosting this podcast. 
I’ve been very blessed and would have never guessed that the podcast would grow to be what it has become. I look back and feel very proud of all the guests, all the coaching, all the knowledge and the impact that these interviews have had in my life and yours.

Choosing Financial Independence with Chris Mamula 

Chris Mamula is an expert on choosing financial independence. He used principles of traditional retirement planning, combined with creative lifestyle design, to retire from a career as a physical therapist at age 41. After poor experiences with the financial industry early in his professional life, he educated himself on investing and tax planning. Now he draws on his experience to write about wealth building, DIY investing, financial planning, early retirement, and lifestyle design at Can I Retire Yet? Chris’s writing has been featured in MarketWatch, Doughroller, Business Insider and RockStar Finance. He is also the primary author of the forthcoming book Choose FI: Your Blueprint to Financial Independence. 


Chris’s story begun when he and his wife made a plan to pay off her student debt while living solely on her income. After they successfully paid it off, they started to wonder if they needed a different strategy if they wanted to start a family. So he went down the financial learning rabbit hole and while it changed his life, he realized a lot of it didn’t resonate with him. His book, Choose FI, is the product of him wanting to give a different perspective.

Healing Trauma with Dr. Don Wood
My guest in this episode is Dr. Don Wood and we are discussing how to heal trauma fast. Dr. Wood is the founder of the Inspired Performance institute. He has dedicated his life to researching how trauma affects our minds and our lives. As you will hear in this episode, Dr. Wood. set out to find a solution for his wife and daughter, who were experiencing physical manifestations of the trauma they were carrying. 
After all his research, Dr. Wood developed a 4-hour healing process. You will hear all about it in our conversation. He has helped thousands of people recover from trauma and perform better than ever before. Dr. Woods is the author of two books: You must be out of your mind and Emotional Concussion (coming soon).

Ruby K. Payne is the leading authority on working across economic classes to create sustainable communities where everyone can live well. As a result, her work has changed the conversation in education to focus on poverty. Ruby’s work has expanded into social services, criminal justice, healthcare, the workplace, and more.
Ruby has written or co-authored more than a dozen books, including Bridges Out of Poverty with Philip DeVol and Terie Dreussi-Smith. Her seminal, award-winning work, A Framework for Understanding Poverty, has sold 1.8 million copies and continues to help individuals of all economic backgrounds achieve academic, professional, and personal success.
She holds a Ph.D. from Loyola University Chicago, and she is the founder of aha! Process, a training and consulting firm that has been in business for more than 20 years.

This week’s guest is Jenny Joy. Jenny Joy is the owner of Ruby Red Cleaning, a residential cleaning service based in downtown Orlando. As you’ll hear in this episode of the podcast, Jenny started her company out of necessity after leaving her marriage and only having $30 to her name. She knew she could clean houses and make money immediately so in a humble moment of need, she got down to work and started Ruby Red Cleaning. One of the things I admire the most about Jenny is the company culture she has been able to create and you’ll get to hear how she did it in this episode.
