Happy May and Happy Asian American Pacific Islander month!! I wanted to do a quick episode to talk about how this month encourages broader conversations about AAPI history, culture, and experiences, helping to combat stereotypes and misconceptions. By celebrating their diversity, it fosters a greater sense of inclusion and belonging for AAPI individuals and communities. AAPI Heritage Month also serves as a reminder of the ongoing challenges faced by AAPI individuals, including discrimination, hate crimes, and the need for greater equity and justice.
