This week we talk with Aaron Cowdery, an animator and storyboard artist based in Southern New Jersey. Growing up, he would always find himself either drawing or playing video games in his free time, making Sonic and Dragonball Z Flash cartoons for websites like Newgrounds.com in the 2000s. After getting a BFA in Animation at the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, Aaron moved to the Greater New York Area to work on shows such as Amazon Prime’s Niko and the Sword of Light, Adult Swim’s Ballmastrz 9009, and Apple TV+’s Duck and Goose. When not spending time with his wife and toddler, or behind a Cintiq, Aaron enjoys dabbling in sneaker culture and sinking his teeth in to a good video game.
